
About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Gleason's practice primarily focuses on family law, including divorce, dissolution, custody, post-decree modification, child support, and adoption. Elizabeth strives to understand each of her clients in order to achieve the best results possible in every case. She lends an empathetic ear to her clients who are often going through one of the toughest times in their lives. Looking at facts for each case, Elizabeth is able to apply the law and fight for her client's best interests.
Elizabeth Gleason is originally from New Albany, Ohio, where she attended New Albany High School. Elizabeth then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. During her time at DePauw, Elizabeth was the president of the Be Great Today 5k, an organization that raises money for suicide prevention in Putnam County, Indiana. Elizabeth then moved back to Columbus, Ohio where she worked at Stewart Title as a Title and Escrow Processor.
In 2018, Elizabeth was admitted to study law at Capital University Law School where she would receive her Juris Doctor. During law school, Elizabeth earned Pro Bono Honors for her over 200 hours of pro bono work with the Franklin County Family & Juvenile Recovery Court specialized dockets. As a legal intern for the Foster Youth Advocacy Clinic at Capital, she assisted indigent clients with legal issues such as paternity verification, custody, and adoption of kids in the custody of Children Services. Elizabeth then spent two years at the Franklin County Juvenile Public Defender's Office as a law clerk. Following her time at Capital, Elizabeth passed the Ohio bar exam, permitting her to start her career as an attorney.
Outside of her life as an attorney, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her dogs, riding her bike, and working on jigsaw puzzles.
