Ohio Support Order Changes In 2019

The state of Ohio has not changed its laws on child support in 30 years, so the fact that new laws are now in place for 2019 is important to take note. The new law applies beginning March 28, 2019, for any new or modified orders. Further, the tax consequences have changed as of January, 2019, regarding spousal support, which can have a significant impact when considering your overall support obligations. You should speak with us to find out how these changes affect your current order or your future modifications.
